Deacons
The goal of our ministry is to support our Pastor in the leading of God’s people. We will act as a bridge of communication between our Pastor and our members as we share the needs and desires of each. We will visit and call our members on a regular basis to make sure they are kept up with the happenings and functions of the church.
Deaconesses
Our mission is to support our Pastor and deacons in visitations of the members of Mt. Zion and others. To help in whatever and whenever we can in word and actions leading by example to promote kingdom building leading by faith.
Trustees
The goal of our ministry is to make sure that all matters and business of the church is kept in order. From the care of our buildings and grounds, to the finance and upkeep of our possessions.
Christian Education
The goal of our ministry is to provide the teaching of God’s Word to all our members on levels in which they can understand. This will be done through Sunday School, Bible Study, various workshop and conferences.
Music
The goal of our ministry is to spread the Word of God through song. First at Mt. Zion and then abroad. To encourage and uplift through singing and praise to our Most High God.
Pastor Support
The goal of our ministry is to support our Pastor with the needs and desires he may have that will make ministering to our congregation a pleasant and rewarding experience. To encourage him and to keep him lifted up in prayer.
Media
Our mission is to enhance the Praise and Worship experience at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church through audio, video, print, and internet technology to enrich, equip, and empower each individual, family, and community throughout the world by spreading the word of God.
Security
Our mission is to provide security and protection for all church members, staff, visitors, guests, and property during church functions at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in accordance with the rules and guidelines set forth by MZMBC, SLED, and the Pastor.
